Privacy Policy & Terms
How we handle your information and the rules for using the I8IS Call service.
Last updated: October 12, 20261. Scope and acceptance
This Privacy Policy and Terms of Use (the “Policy”) explains how I8IS Call (“I8IS Call”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use our web dialer, browser extension, calling list, power dialer, contact tools, recordings, conference calling, notifications, and related services (the “Service”).
By signing in to or using the Service, you agree to this Policy. If you use I8IS Call on behalf of a company or team, you confirm that you are authorized to accept this Policy for that organization. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Information we collect
We collect account information such as your name, work email, role, organization details, and authentication records. We also collect calling information including phone numbers, direction, timestamps, duration, status, dispositions, callback details, notes, tags, contact names, company names, and power-dialer queue activity.
We may collect conference room identifiers, participant names or labels, phone numbers, participant status, mute state, and timing. When recording is enabled, we process call audio and recordings. We also collect technical information such as browser, device, IP address, session identifiers, error logs, notification permission state, and basic usage events needed to operate and secure the Service.
3. How we use information
We use information to authenticate users; place, receive, route, and manage calls; identify saved contacts; operate conferences and recordings; maintain call history and analytics; provide power-dialer workflows; send call and security notifications; troubleshoot and improve performance; prevent fraud and abuse; comply with legal obligations; and provide requested support.
We do not use call content or contact data to sell advertising, and we do not sell personal information. We use data only as needed to provide the Service, protect users, and meet the purposes described in this Policy.
4. Calls, recordings, and consent
You are responsible for using the Service lawfully and for giving any notices or obtaining any consents required before recording, transcribing, monitoring, or sharing a call. Recording laws differ by location and may require consent from every participant.
I8IS Call may use Twilio or other telecommunications providers to establish calls, deliver media, and store recordings. Provider processing is subject to the provider’s own terms and privacy documentation. Do not record sensitive conversations unless you have a lawful basis and the required permissions.
5. Sharing and service providers
We share information only with authorized team members and service providers that help us operate the Service, such as hosting, database, authentication, analytics, notification, telecommunications, and storage providers. These providers may process information only to perform services for us and must use reasonable safeguards.
We may disclose information when required by law or legal process, in an emergency involving safety, to protect I8IS Call and its users, or as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets. We do not share contact lists for unrelated marketing.
6. Retention and deletion
We retain account, contact, call-history, conference, notes, and recording data for as long as needed to provide the Service, meet contractual and legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Your organization controls retention settings where those settings are available.
An administrator may request deletion of an account or its data. Some information may remain in secure backups or be retained where required by law, fraud prevention, billing, or dispute resolution. Deleting a contact does not necessarily remove a call record that must be retained for an operational or legal reason.
7. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information, including authenticated access, role-based permissions, encrypted connections, and access logging where supported. No internet service is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee that unauthorized access will never occur.
Keep your email account and device secure, use only authorized accounts, and promptly report suspected compromise or misuse to your organization’s administrator.
8. Your choices and rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, restrict, object to, or delete personal information. You may also withdraw notification permission through your browser and disable recording where the Service permits it.
Submit privacy requests to your I8IS Call administrator or the contact provided by your organization. We may verify your identity and coordinate with the organization that controls the account before fulfilling a request.
9. Acceptable use
You must not use the Service to break the law, harass or impersonate others, make unlawful robocalls or spam, bypass authentication, interfere with the Service, upload malicious code, access another user’s data without authorization, or record people without required notice or consent.
You are responsible for phone-number ownership, dialing practices, contact permissions, message and recording disclosures, and compliance with applicable telecommunications, privacy, consumer-protection, and employment laws.
10. Availability and changes
The Service may depend on internet access, browser permissions, telecommunications carriers, Twilio, hosting systems, and third-party integrations. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or emergency calling service. I8IS Call is not a replacement for emergency services; use your local emergency number for urgent assistance.
We may update this Policy as the Service or law changes. We will update the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, provide notice in the Service. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
11. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided on an “as available” and “as is” basis without warranties not expressly stated in this Policy. To the maximum extent permitted by law, I8IS Call and its providers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages, or for call failure, carrier outage, recording loss, or unauthorized access outside our reasonable control.
Nothing in this Policy limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be limited. Your organization’s agreement with I8IS Call may contain additional commercial terms that apply to your account.
12. Contact
For privacy questions, deletion requests, security reports, or terms questions, contact your organization’s I8IS Call administrator or the I8IS Call support contact supplied with your account. Please include your organization, account email, and a clear description of your request.
